Candlestick
Candlestick, silver, the square shaped base engraved with an eagle crest, cast and chased with aquatic masks, shells, scrolls and seaweed on a ridged and textured ground simulating the sea. Triform stems decorated with shells and flowers against cascading waterfalls, the sconces and detachable nozzle with crustacea and foliage on similar texturing. Later drip pan similarly ornamented. The crest is that of Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn 3rd Bt. (1692-1749).
