Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a tapered foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and straight spreading sides; lobed lip with twelve equally sized lobes, and faint feathered moulding to the lip; painted in the centre with a large spray of deeply coloured flowers and five insects, and five smaller sprays around the edge; blue and gilt notched line to the cavetto, gilt dentilled lip.
