Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'The Queen God Bless Her' (although this title is not recorded on the lid), showing the figures of two young boys, one raising a glass, and a dog, seated outside a building with a pail to one side and a broom to the other, the print enclosed by a broad circular border of scrolling foliage.
