Muff warmer
Flask-shaped muff or hand-warmer, made from earthenware with a blueish lead glazed, in the form of a closed scallop shell, narrow cylindrical neck with plain rim, two nose lugs at shoulder; each ridge of the shell is painted with a different high temperature underglaze enamel colours in the Pratt ware pallette, starting at the neck they are blue, yellow, brown and green, the lugs have a crimped bottom edge.
