Teacup and saucer, hybrid-paste porcelain with a buff translucency; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, London shape, and ogee handle; saucer standing on a straight sided foot rim with curved spreading sides; both transfer printed in monochrome black, the cup with a view of a castle overlooking a river with four men in a boat, and two horses in the foreground; the saucer with a view of two sailboats and a rowing boat on a river leading into a town, with a bridge in the distance; gilt lip to the cup and saucer and gilt line inside the lip, gilt band to the foot rim and gilt leaf to the handle.
