Plate, pale buff coloured earthenware, circular shape with inset base and curving spreading sides; covered all over with a greyish-pink tinged white tin-glaze, crudely decorated in shades of blue, green, yellow and brown and an orange overglaze with to the well a design of a fence and Chinese-style flowers and foliage, a conventional border to the rim, a slightly chipped orange edge to the rim.
