Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, flared body, everted lip, lower half decorated with moulded leaves, the veins in gilt, the upper part with painted insects, birds and ferns, gilt border to rim and inside of lip, bottom with a figure surrounded by gilt border and ornamental border. The saucer stands on a shallow rim, spreading body, everted lip, decorated with a female figure looking in a hand-held mirror surrounded by a gilt cartouche and a border comprising birds and flowers, ornamental gilt border to lip, the underside is decorated with moulded leaves radiating from the rim.
