Bottle
Bottle, of grey stoneware, standing on an uneven, slightly concave base, the body, pear-shaped, tapered at base and toward neck, the neck narrow and tapering with corded lip rim, the neck markedly warped so as to lean to one side, the body also indented and flattened in places with a generally warped appearance; loop handle with raised lower terminal; the body, largely covered with a heavy brown slip beneath a light salt-glaze; the lower part of the body and the baseunglazed; the glaze and the slip discoloured inpatches and with a dull lichen-like effect.
