Jug, hot water
Jug with hinged cover, on shallow stepped and spreading foot, the rim gadrooned; pear shaped body, ornamented with concave flutes, moulded rib at the shoulders with narrow band of lappets below, tall plain neck spreading slightly to lip, small up-turned spout with fluted hemispherical terminal, below which is engraved a coat of arms, quarterly of four; prominant tapering S-scroll handle with two ivory insulating rings, hinged shallow stepped, and domed cover, with gadrooned rim, baluster finial and bifurcated scroll thumb piece.
