Easy-open ends progression, i.e. the manufacturing stages of pressing and scoring full aperture can tops and attaching pull tabs. One is blank, four are printed with Crown Cork & Seal’s ‘Easy Lift’ Trade Mark (licensed to Metal Box and later to Canaurd Metalbox), one is printed with a pet food company icon in the form of a paw print, one is printed with instructions how to use the pull tab, and the last is printed with ‘Winalot’ (the same as 2018.8/1). Part of a collection of samples of the production stages of manufacturing ‘Easy Lift’ pull-tab ‘full aperature’ tinplate can manufacture from Metal Box works, Neath, 1980s, manufactured from tinplate made at one of Ebbw Vale Works, Trostre Works, Llanelli or Velindre Works, Morriston.
