Plate
Small plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with embossed floral sprigs enclosed by foliate swags interspersed with ribbon-tied floral garlands; transfer-printed in blue and overpainted in red, puce, orange, and peach with to the centre of the well a scene showing three Chinese-style figures, two playing musical instruments, against a garden-like background with a fence, pagoda and spreading trees, the moulded floral sprigs to the rim overpainted in red, yellow, green and brown, a brown edge to the rim.
