Spirit lamp and stand
Spirit lamp and stand, silver, standing on three scroll legs on ebony ball feet supporting a ring pierced with S-shaped scrolls on which rests a second removable ring to hold a saucepan, a socket for the turned fruitwood handle attached to one leg, a ring to hold the spirit lamp fixed between the legs, the lamp with slightly tapering sides, rounded shoulder above a moulded ridge and everted rim, a removable wick holder with a hinged and domed cover with a ball finial.
