Jug
Jug, soft-paste porcelain, pear-shaped body with ribbed sides narrowing toward a circular spreading base and narrowing at the neck before flaring out to form a shaped rim and deep pouring spout; the edge is gilded and the base is circled with a gilt line border, the body is painted with gold sprigs, the front of the jug is inscribed: Walter Churchney / Brecknock / 1836.
