Early Medieval human remains
This is the poorly preserved inhumation burial of a Young Adult (25-35 years) who was probably Female.
She was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East
The burial is from Phase C: 401-659 AD
Her teeth showed evidence of calculus. Her bones exhibited signs of Degenerative Joint Disorder, which is often caused by repeated manual labour.
The burial is associated, by proximity, with SK163
