Coffee cup, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a straight-sided rounded foot-rim, rounded surving sides with spiral fluting, the lip-rim waved, loop handle with raised inner spur to the lower handle; a painted landscape in greens and browns to the exterior side of the cup opposite the handle showing a small figure standing on a dirt track in front of a cottage, spreading trees overhang the scene, the scene enclosed within a star-like gilt cartouche, the rest of the exterior sides painted with scattered cornflowers (Angoulême sprigs) in blue, red and green, and scattered gilt stars, a gilt band to the foot-rim, a gilt edge to the lip-rim, the handle painted in gilt.
