Card rack
Eight oval shaped divisions, the top one pierced for suspension, attached to a single strip at the back for support. Both surfaces have been applied with black japan. Each division has been painted in bronze with the name of a weekday, the eighth has been similarly applied with a simple foliate decoration. There are additional bands to the edges. The application of a clear varnish has resulted in a golden tinged surface appearance.
