Queerspace (Queerspace is a safe meeting place for Transgender and gender nonconforming individuals in Caldicot, Chepstow, Magor, Undy, and surrounding areas.)
Queerspace patch. Collected at Abergavenny Pride, 24 June 2023.
Circular iron-on patch of white synthetic fabric machine embroidered using synthetic fibre; Ø 73mm. Featuring a red cartoon dragon from the waist up, sticking out its tongue, with horns on its head and red eyes, against a background of sky/clouds which are picked out in the transgender colours of pale blue, pale pink and white. Edges of the design and of the patch itself are machine-sewn in black. Reverse of patch has an applied coating of a clear synthetic substance which will presumably melt and act as an adhesive if heated: i.e. ironed onto a fabric substrate.
