Medieval silver gilt pendant
Small silver gilt devotional crucifix pendant
The pendant is made of three parts, joined and cast as one: cross with trefoil terminal; figure of Christ in loincloth on once side; figure of Mary with Christ Child on the other side. Both figures are crudely modelled, but recognisably conforming to large medieval representations of Christ and Mary at a larger scale. In place of the INRI on the titulus placed above the head of Christ is a square panel engraved with a star. The cross arms are stepped slightly out just before the trefoil terminals.
