Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, rectangular, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into flared spreading sides, rectangular shaped with rounded corners, and the sides rising higher at either end, with shell moulding and partly scalloped lip; painted with a turquoise border with an inner scalloped edge lined with Sèvres style raised gilded flowers and foliage, with pendant polychrome enamel small flower sprays; central flower spray, and gilding to shell moulding; gilt band to foot rim, and gilt lip.
