Glass display cabinet purchased by John Williams following a promotion at Dinorwig Quarry, he lived in the house next door to Llainfadyn. Contains a mixture of birds and animals either by James of Carmarthen or Hutchings of Aberystwyth in a naturalistic setting; a long-eared owl and a tawny owl; two jays; merlin; short-toed tree creeper and a middle-spotted woodpecker are perched on branches; a buzzard and kestrel are feeding from the corpse of a rabbit. A magpie is placed on the bottom left corner of the scene and at the bottom of the case are a ferret, a stoat killing a greenfinch and a weasel. The back is painted to depict the sky and ranges from yellow, blue to pink which is characteristic of Hutchings. The case has square feet, and gilded bars over black tape.
