Cream jug
Jug, soft-paste porcelain; rectangular, standing on a straight sided foot rim, rounded sides to shoulder, concave curve to lip, with a wide elongated spout; high loop handle with a thumb spur and double ridge collar moulding in lower part of handle; painted with set pattern 190, - a Japan pattern of stylised pink and red flowers intertwined with large dark underglaze blue and small green leaves, bordered by gilt bands; gilt laurel leaf border around the collar, gilt lip, and gilt foliate detail to the handle.
