Vase, with cover
Vase, pearlware, standing on a spreading short pedestal foot, bell-shaped body with flaring mouth, round domed cover perforated with numerous round holes, the largest central hole having a raised rounded lip around it; decorated with to one side of the exterior body a landscape painted in sepia showing the figures of a woman and child in front of a cottage surrounded by trees with a mountain in the distance, to the other side of the exterior body a large bouquet of naturalistic flowers painted in polychrome enamels, wide chocolate bands around the foot-rim, lower body and lip-rim, and around the rim and perforations on the cover. The rim of the cover chipped.
