Goblet
Goblet, bone china, inverted bell-shaped body sitting on a stem with two moulded knops, domed circular base, with three high kidney-shaped handles that have scroll terminals and thumb rests, the base and the rim have shaped edges; decorated with a dark underglaze blue ground and reserved with three panels each containing painted landscapes on white grounds, the handles and the edges are gilded, the inside of the rim is banded with an elaborate border of gilt scrolls and dots, the outside of the rim is banded with an elaborate gilt diamond border on a yellow ground, each panel is outlined with gilt borders incorporating flowers and shells, the base is overpainted with gilt flower sprigs.
