Beaker and saucer, hard-paste porcalain, saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body and everted lip, decorated with a gold cartouche with purple panels containing a seated, chinoiserie figure, surrounded by iron-red and purple scrolling, gilt border to rim and lip, three concentric, iron-red lines to underside.
