Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Cockle plate, earthenware, circular shape with narrow inwardly slanting foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, eight notches and lobes to the rim; freely painted in pink, sage-green and black, with to the centre of the well a pink and black flower head issuing further flowers and foliage, a running border to the rim of pink petals and green and black leaves linked together by narrow stems.
