Figure of Garibaldi, white earthenware, crackle glaze, modelled all round seated on an irregularly shaped oval base painted green and brown and impressed in black capitals. Garibaldi wearing black shoes, white trousers, an orange/red shirt, black neck tie, naturalistically painted face, black hair and beard. Seated looking left with legs slightly apart, right arm bent and resting hand on knee, spade between legs and resting against the right leg, left elbow on left leg with left hand nearly touching the spade handle. pointed yellow hat with a blue ribbon lying by his left foot.
