Jug
Jug, earthenware, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, ridged loop handle; the exterior of the jug and the interior neck and spout covered with an olive-green ground, this then transfer-printed in black with to either side of the exterior body a small scene showing sheep and figures in a parkland setting with trees and a country house, the transfer-prints very worn, the scenes enclosed by silver lustre borders, silver lustre bands around the lower body, exterior neck and interior and exterior lip-rim and spout, the spout and handle edged in silver lustre. The spout and lip-rim chipped.
