Tufled woven wool rug in beige with brown horizontal tufted brown stripes.
Ground weave in 2/2 diagional twill with c 8 warps per cm. selvedges down each long side. 2cm heam along top and bottom hand stiched. Tufts are made of 9 strands of yarn worked into a persian knot around 2 warps every 8 picks. The rows of tufts grade from undyed/beige to brown in horizontal stripes depending on the mix of yarn in each tuft.
