Medieval silver gilt finger ring
Silver finger ring with rectangular ridged bezel and engraved decoration
It has a flat, rectangular bezel with transverse central ridge, and double ridges at the juction with the hoop. The bezel is engraved with two beaded chevrons, and two hatched dashes are engraved across each shoulder, either side of a longitudinal ridge. The lowest section of the hoop has a wrythen form. There is gilding present on the outer surface
