Solid oak and oak veneer early 19th cent rent table; octagonal pedestal base supported on turned oval feet secured in position with wrought iron plate and threaded through middle; four-plank top; four square and four triangular drawers numbered from I-VIII inlayed in holly corresponding to number stamped inside drawer lining; drawer fronts profiled from solid with turned wooden knobs. French polish finish. Made in Breconshire and belonged to Dowes family.
