Two-handled bowl, bone china, pale green translucency, standing on a shallow spreading foot, tub-shaped body, out-turning lip, two curving `London' shape handles; bright green laid ground to the body reserved at the front with a polychrome view of industrial buildings in a gilt frame inscribed PENTEWYN IRON WORKS, flanked with vine sprays on gilt on the white body, the reverse with an oval cartouche inscribed J. Hunt, Esq. within a vine scroll frame of raised gilding, flanked by polychrome bunches of flowers. Cracked and rivetted on receipt
