Tea bowl
Tea bowl, slightly bluish hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides slightly flaring at the lip-rim; delicately painted in overglaze 'famille rose' enamels with around the exterior sides a panoramic scene with two figures looking out of a doorway at two further figures, one seated on a donkey and one carrying buckets on a yoke, to the interior bottom of the bowl a small black floral sprig, around the interior lip-rim a quite worn narrow border of scrolling foliage in black and gilt.
