Dinorwic main line tank loco, film slide
Collection of slides forming lecture "Rails in the Slate Industry" by D.R. Geering, UMIST 3rd year Mechanical Engineering Projects, c.1975 (copy of lecture notes in related material).
Hunslet 4ft. guage 0-6-0T "Dinorwic" with a train of transporters. The slate wagons had to have a stub axle for each wheel to leave clearance in the centre to pass over the transporter wheels which projected above the framing.
