Jug and cover, black glazed earthernware; flat base with three lute-applied feet, wheel-thrown globular body tapering to tubular neck with simple pointed spout, simple scroll handle, lute-applied, bottom terminal curved outwards; impressed vine design to the body, continued onto the cover, which has a bird-shaped finial; the feet, moulding and bird-finial enhanced with gilding.
