Tray, soft-paste porcelain, oval for with straight-sided foot-rim and curving sides, to either end of the tray the sides have been perforated to form handles; the centre of the well finely painted in red enamel with a group consisting of a classical figure driving a chariot attacked by two hippogriffs, around the edge of the well a Greek-Key pattern border in black between several gilt lines, the handles edged in gilt, a gilt edge to the rim. The foot-rim slightly chipped.
