Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Tureen stand, pearl glaze, shaped oval form, either end terminating in a point flanked by scrolls, notched sides, deep well the centre part raised and moulded with ring round, the centre well transfer-printed in underglaze blue with the longer version of 'Cows Crossing a Stream' pattern - a rustic scene with three cows in a stream, a farm hand behind, wooden bridge and a large tree to the left, watermill and trees etc behind. Dense floral border mostly of roses.
