Teapot and cover
Teapot, cream-coloured earthenware, inset base, cylindrical body sloping inwards at the shoulder to a raised lip-rim, curving spout, simple loop handle, round domed cover with collar-like rim, to the top of the cover a ball finial, a pierced steam hole to one side; crudely painted in brick-red, yellow, green and black enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the teapot a spray of stylized conventional flowers, around the shoulder of the teapot and the rim of the cover a conventional border of red semi-circles decorated with yellow, a black looping line and black sprigs, further stylized floral sprigs around the top of the cover. The tip of the spout severely chipped.
