Altar, or sanctuary, candlestick, floor standing type; thrown in 4 sections, consisting of splayed base, lower shaft, embossed knop, upper shaft & candle holder. Rich yellow glaze over white slip with broad zones of sgraffito decoration based on chevrons & trefoils. Made for dedication of St. Matthews Church, Pontypridd.
