Tea bowl and saucer

Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, flared sides, everted lip; decorated in polychrome enamels, on one side with a landscape, three figures to the left sitting on a rock, river and tower to right, the other side with a landscape with river, three figures standing on river edge, one pointing to left, one facing away, one bending near barrel, two figures in boat, both within elaborate gilt and brown cartouches with patternwork and webbing, bottom decorated with a purple enamel riverscape with three figures to the right with barrel and boat to left, within two purple concentric lines, ornamental gilt border to inner lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body, everted lip; decorated in polychrome enamels with a harbour scene, two main figures to left of foreground with packages, centre with a boat being loaded, within an elaborate gilt and brown cartouche with patternwork and webbing, ornamental gilt border to lip, gilt band to foot rim.
