Container with attached cover and stand, soft-paste porcelain, cylindrical pot with its edges mounted in brass and with a domed shaped cover also mounted in brass with a brass hinge, four brass double scrolled feet, moulded finial in the shape of a berry on a stalk resting on a bed of three leaves, oval shaped stand with a shaped edge; the finial is gilded and sits atop a white reserve, the whole is decorated with a blue ground overpainted with a gold cell pattern, the stand is reserved with two white panels containing cherubs framed by gold bands and the pot is reserved with two white panels containing fruit and flowers framed by gold bands, the rim of the stand is decorated with a gold beaded border and the central reserve of the stand is decorated with a gold flower.
