Wedding dress veil
Wedding veil worn in 1948 by Mrs M. Winchester, Fairwater, Cardiff. Made by Beattie Williams (dressmaker). Plain cotton net consisting of several pieces stitched to form full, very long veil. Head-dress stitched to veil consists of padded 'alice band' stiffened with metal wire and decorated with oak leaves in fabric matching wedding dress and synthetic pearls.
