Neolithic pottery vessel
Two sherds in a hard, well-fired, if slightly abraded, fabric. The fabric contains grog and finely crushed stones and measures 10mm thick. The deocration comprises vertical twisted impressions above a cavetto formed by two raised cordons. Within the cavetto is a row of short diagonal twisted cord impressions with attendant fingernail impressions towards the top. Vertical stop ridges fill the cavetto at intervals. Probably from the upper portion of a Food Vessel Urn.
