Plate, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a tapering foot ring, with cushion-moulded sides and a rim with twelve alternating large and small lobes; decorated in enamels and gold with the 'pois vert' pattern comprising a central bouquet of flowers and foliage encircled by a frieze of gold acanthus leaves and green dots between an inner gold line and an outer blue line with gold dotted edge, a border of radial lines of stylised flowers consisting of a gold flowerhead dot and stem flanked by two green leaf dots ('pois verd'), between an inner frieze with gold and red dots and an outer frieze of gold acanthus leaves and red flowerheads between blue lines with gold dotted edges.
