Medieval pottery vessel
South-West England - mica-dusted (fabric 11). (not illustrated) Soft, brownish-grey fabric with similarly coloured surfaces distinguished by numerous mica particles. Only one, unstratified vessel is represented. The use of mica is indicative of a Devon or other south-west English origin (McCarthy and Brooks 1988, 30-1).
