Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into slightly curved spreading sides; lobed lip with six large and six small lobes, moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; freely painted with five scattered sprays of wild and garden flowers ( one in the rim ), and two sprigs, including buttercups, pink roses, a yellow and purple tulip, convolvulus, and forget-me-nots; gilt band to lip.
