Plate, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a shallow foot rim, spreading sides, flange, everted lip; decorated with a large bamboo in underglaze blue surrounded by flowering plants painted in Kakiemon style, enamels, within two iron-red concentric lines, border of flowering plants to flange, underside decorated with a continuous border of stems and flowers in underglaze blue and three concentric lines.
