Dish, buff coloured earthenware, circular shape with straight-sided flattened-off foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim; covered all over with a blue tinged tin-glaze; this then crudely painted in blue, green, yellow and brown with to the upperside of the dish a scene showing the figures of a naked Adam and Eve standing to either side of a spreading tree, with sponge-painted green foliage and yellow flowers, around the trunk of which a yellow and brown snake is coiled, Adam, to the left of the tree has short hair, Eve, to the right of the tree, has long hair, the rim slightly chipped in places.
