Jug, hard-paste porcelain, 'ozier' model, pear-shaped body with a moulded basket-work border around the neck, beak spout moulded with rococo scrolls, wish bone handle; finely painted in iron-red camaïeu with to either side of the body a landscape with Watteau figures, three small butterflies below the spout, the basket-work border covered with a pale yellow ground and painted with a trellis work pattern in gilt, the spout and handle picked out in gilt, a gilt band around the upper rim.
