Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and shallow bowl with rounded sides, plain loop handle; painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the cup a small landscape with three sheep bordered below by rococo scrolls in puce, scattered floral sprigs and a small insect around the rest of the exterior sides, a further small insect to the interior of the cup, around the interior lip-rim a narrow border in puce with a gilt edge, the handle picked out in puce. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a small landscape with three sheep bordered below by rococo scrolls in puce, around the sides of the well a floral sprig and two insects, around the rim a narrow border in puce with a gilt edge.
