Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindical neck, plain beak spout, plain loop handle; transfer-printed in red with to the front of the exterior body below the spout the inscription "Ladies all / I pray make free; / And tell me how, / You like your Tea ", enclosed by a printed wreath of foliage in red and a painted red band, around this band is a pattern of crudely painted green stylized leaves and then a pink lustre band, the exterior neck and spout covered with pink lustre, a pink lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout, a pink lustre band to the shoulder of the handle. The foot-rim chipped.
